Here is a map of the location of St. George’s Church in Wigan Town Centre.

St. George’s Church is located just off Standishgate, on Water Street, immediately opposite the end of Church Street. There are two car parks adjacent to the Church for those coming by car.
St. George’s Church has recently been refurbished and is an ideal town centre venue for the day long event.
Free tea, coffee and other refreshments will be provided all day. There will also be a free buffet lunch. So that the organisers have an idea how many people might be coming, if you are wanting to attend, then please click the ‘Join’ button on the following Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/304303262992443/
The event is supported by Wigan Borough Green Socialists whose members are strongly encouraged to attend. There will be a similar event in Atherton the following week at the Jubilee Hall, Crabtree Lane, Atherton under the title of ‘A Tastier Greener Bent’n'Bongs Pie for those living in the Eastern part of the Borough and which is primarily aimed at local residents living in the Atherton & Tyldesley areas.

There will be plenty time to ask questions, and lots of FREE advice and information to help your community group obtain potential financial and other assistance for any of the projects you may wish to set up in your area.

Looks great! We will publicise in Manchester Climate Monthly, and try to get along to it.
